State continues to cut social security benefits

Last week, the state media reported that all discounts to pre-schoolers and students at secondary schools would be abolished, and that healthcare institutions would limit the number of times a citizen could request free medical care.

De facto, in recent years, the population has increased spending on education and healthcare systems. Meanwhile, the government does not even raise such issues as reducing the tax burden, citizens’ control over governmental spending, and quality monitoring in education and healthcare.
