‘Belarus in Focus 2013’ receives 67 articles from 14 countries

This year’s journalism competition received a total of 67 articles by 55 authors from 14 countries –

Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, France, Germany, Italy, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Spain, Sweden, Serbia, United Kingdom, United States of America, and Ukraine.

Around one third of the articles (26) had been published in magazines, one third (21) in newspapers, and one third in online portals (16) or other sources (5). You can see all articles here.

There are three prizes of 300 EUR for beginner journalists, and three prizes of 500 EUR for professional journalists. Winners will be invited to take part in an international journalist workshop in Warsaw in spring 2014.

Prize winners will be announced on the competition website by February 17th, 2014.
